Behavior Modification Training
Feeling lost trying to live with a dog gone wild?
Dog Behaviorists use proven peer-reviewed methods of Applied Behavior Analysis with other science-based modalities to implement management, counter-conditioning, and alternative/opposing behavior methods to help your dog build positive socially significant outcomes.
You will see progress working using our customized behavior protocol that follows the Pet Professional Accreditation Board Guidelines:
- We prioritize your dog’s feelings of stress and safety in their environment and relationships with empathy and respect. We often work in tandem with veterinary behaviorists and law enforcement.
- We address the root causes (functions) and stimulus triggers of behavior so your dog can better cope.
- We cannot diagnose or treat physical or mental illness. We do not prescribe medications.
- Our ethical responsibility for medical areas is to refer the client to Board Certified Veterinarian Behaviorists who are authorized to diagnose and prescribe through their license and educational qualifications.
- We work with veterinary behaviorists to implement your dog’s behavior intervention plan with you.
Functional Behavior Assessment
We first implement an Assessment and Behavior Plan tailored for your dog to help you find the missing pieces that can resolve the root causes of challenging behavior tot well bring out your dog’s value and embelish your quality of life.
The assessment is a legal document used in animal control, law enforcement cases, court issued abatements, and veterinarian references.
The one-time assessment also provided a detailed Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP). The session is approximately 90 minutes. Cost is $250.
